Burnt orange

My 1st attempt to make and edit a video. It was during lockdown in my studio in Dublin, 2022. I had just quit dancing in 2019 and chose to make myself dress up and perform for the camera while layering paint in my favourite colour, glitter (for the glitz of performance) in water (for its grounding, calming and purity) on top. The dress is orange and vintage I got with my mom and sister in my favourite vintage shop in Dublin called Jenny Vander. Dressing up and dancing for myself became a habit of mine during this time. I wanted to see what would come out of having been a ballerina to quitting and now the permission to be creative and try discover something new.
